Lunessa Homes is a boutique, English-speaking property service run by Michael Fee from Málaga, Spain. This policy explains how personal data is handled.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry, we collect only what you choose to give us — typically your name, email, phone number, an optional note of where you’re based, and anything you write in the message. We do not ask for, or want, financial details, ID numbers or passwords through this website.
Website analytics
The site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use it — which pages are read and roughly where visitors come from. This involves Google setting analytics cookies in your browser. We use the data only to improve the site; see the cookie policy for the details and how to opt out.
Maps
The new-developments pages show an interactive map. The map itself comes from OpenFreeMap, a free map service run from Hungary on OpenStreetMap data. When the map loads, your browser fetches the map from OpenFreeMap’s servers. OpenFreeMap sets no cookies, and its own privacy policy says it keeps no IP addresses in its regular logs.
Why, and the lawful basis
We use that information for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and help with your property search or sale. The lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to someone who has asked us to. We never sell your data, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to help you, and then deleted. If we work together, records connected to a transaction are kept as long as Spanish and UK law require, and no longer.
Who sees it
Michael Fee, and — only where a transaction requires it and you agree — the independent professionals involved (your abogado, mortgage broker or the notary). Any tools we use to run the business (for example email) are reputable providers with their own safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and Spanish/EU data-protection law you can ask to see the data we hold, correct it, delete it, or object to its use. Exercise these by emailing info@lunessahomes.com. You can also complain to the UK’s ICO or Spain’s AEPD.
