New developments · Spa and gym
New developments with a spa and a gym.
New builds where the shared grounds include a spa, as the developer describes it: an indoor heated pool, a sauna or a steam room, usually beside a gym. The community fee reflects it.
A spa in the shared grounds has become the mark of a mid-priced new development on the coast. It usually means a heated indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room and a gym, in a block beside the outdoor pool. Some add a co-working room and a cinema.
The thing to price is the community fee. Heating an indoor pool and staffing a gym cost money every month, whether or not you use them, and the fee on a new development like this runs higher than on a plain block with one outdoor pool. I ask the developer for the estimated fee before you commit, because the brochure rarely says.
